that's not even what I was going to post about, but it totally sidetracked me and now I haven't a clue.
so instead of posting, here is a picture of Joyana, being simply adorable as usual. she had her well child check the other week and simply wowed the doctor. Apparently, she is perfect. Why did I have to pay a co-pay to find that out?
Some pants for the new baby, top pair is boyish, the other is girly. these are made out of scraps of leftover yarn from many other projects, then I added to the craziness by doing various textures as well. I love how they turned out.

I'm not 19 weeks pregnant. That is seriously throwing me for a loop.

Just think about the poor soul who is only 19 weeks pregnant. Be optimistic.
I too always resent paying a copay for a perfectly healthy child. I'm just always paranoid they'll get sick before the next year is up, and when I take them in the first words will "well,I see you missed the yearly checkup".
Kayla... you trying to tell us something?
When I was 19 weeks pregnant, I was very happy to be 19 weeks pregnant. Now that I am 39 weeks pregnant, and NOT very happy, I would be even less happy to rewind and start back over 20 weeks ago.
Errr... yeah... seeing as how it this is AUgust and her birthday was in January, we had definitely missed the checkup. (and yes, I know the fear! they are suddenly goign to come down with dengue fever because I'm late for the well-child checkup!) But she's all good. The doctor, poor doctor...
She asked Joy her name and her age, and of course Joy did fine. Then she asked if she was a boy or a girl. Joy looked at her funny and said, "I Joynana (she thows an extra "n" in there)" and the doctor asked again, boy or girl. Joy looks at her and says, very patiently, "I Joynana Luck. I two. I a big kid. Tiny baby is boy" (no we don't know, but they are all convinced BabyJ is a boy). The doctor was like, "ok... I see she can use more than 3 words in a row..."
So then she (dr) draws a circle on the paper, asks Joy what it is (trying to get her to say a ball or whatever). Joy reaches out and takes the pen, finishes drawing a face and body on the circle and says, "It's Joynana".
She's not egocentric at all though. @@
Oh girly...I know how you must have felt. I got on your blog and noticed that earlier and thought maybe it was just a glitch. Hopefully you go soon and i pray that everything goes smoothly.
Amused by your ticker troubles. You sure you can get that baby out before I get my gallbladder out? Hmmmm
Joy sure has grown. Looks like a proper toddler now.
